The Mallorca Files se concentra em dois detetives internacionais, a britânica Miranda Blake e o alemão Max Winter, que devem trabalhar juntos para a polícia espanhola em Palma de Mallorca. O novo casal policial está sob o comando de Inés Villegas, chefe da Polícia responsável. Miranda Blake é introvertida e leva a sua carreira a sério, enquanto o alemão Max Winter é um detetive extrovertido e nada convencional. A equipe tem de resolver os crimes mais inusitados na ilha de Mallorca, especialmente os crimes que assolam a comunidade internacional e o turismo. O tempo todo vivem em um país que não é o seu e enfrentam situações que trazem o que há de melhor e de pior, aproximando-os aos poucos.
